SUPRA Tour Especial 2013: Part Two
SEPTEMBER 20, 2013
Spencer and Boo Johnson enjoying Our Lady's architecture.
After a few autograph signings and some skating, the team decided to do some sightseeing around Mexico City while it was raining. First we went to see the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a large church complex in the north of the city. We did not see a vision of the Virgin Mary, as Juan Diego did back in 1531, but we enjoyed the sights nonetheless. Then we went even further back in time as we traveled out of town to the nearby ancient Aztec Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon on the Avenue of the Dead. We closed out Mexico City with a demo at a local museum equipped with a SUPRA exhibit and an after party.
Furby praying for the rain to stop.
We were there on Mexican Independence Day so we were treated to some music and dancing.
Our next stop was the Pyramid of the Moon.

Neen and Lizard consider the climb to the top of the moon.
Don't look down. These stairs are so steep. From here we walked to the Pyramid of the Sun in the distance.

The demo went down in an old train station that had been converted into a museum, The Estacion Indianilla. They had installed photos of every SUPRA team rider on the walls and SUPRA Footwear was on display.
