The BKRW Skytop III was unveiled at BLACKRAINBOW last night. For one night only, BLACKRAINBOW was as radically altered by the BKRW team as was the SKYTOP III that they collaborated on. The store was converted to the invitation-only "Chair Club" and the retail environment was transformed into an intimate lounge complete with a custom neon sign, leather couches, champagne, and the ladies of Pink Paradise.

"Just designing the shoe wasn’t enough," Jay Smith of BKRW said. "Our motto is, 'It's all about details.' So it was important for us to also provide luxury accessories with the shoe, such as wooden shoe trees, a shoe horn, a microfiber dust bag, and each pair comes in a premium matte black box. Ultimately it’s a real handmade shoe in every respect." 

A very limited number of the BKRW Skytop III will be available at BLACKRAINBOW in Paris on Saturday, September 29.
