Oz Man Out Part One
FEBRUARY 24, 2012
The Oz Man Out Tour has officially begun. The SUPRA team got off of a 14-hour flight from LAX to Brisbane at 10am and hit the streets like a pack of hungry wolves. By noon Spencer Hamilton, Lizard King, Kevin Romar, Terry Kennedy, Neen Williams, Matt Mumford, and Boo Johnson had already stacked tricks at a couple of spots.
TK and Romar contemplate 13 stairs after spending 14 hours on a plane.
Kevin Romar tests out a switch 180.
Lizard with a new ledge trick he's been working on.
Bjorn Johnston with Lizard and TK. Bjorn's got all the spots hooked up, so he's playing tour guide as we travel up the Gold Coast.
No broom, but Lizard did his best to help clear the spot for TK.
The drop off factor was pretty high on this rail. Terry broke it in with a boardslide.
Stevie showed everyone his Primo skills from Love Park.
Then we were off to two sets of perfect stairs in a row. Spencer was in heaven.
The stairs put up a hard fight, though. Boo had to earn his tricks.
Spencer came away as the spot MVP and also won the award for "Most Tore Up."
It's so hot on the Gold Coast right now that it's not weird at all to chill at the spot with your shirt off.
Lizard with a hippie jump.
More hammers, more hype.
Boo and Spencer stacking tricks minutes before the demo.
Neen Williams and his crowd pleasing kickflips.
Even the roof was packed.
Kevin Romar making his nollie bigspin heels look too easy.
Lizard with a backside flip. He forgets he can do these sometimes.
Stevie with a fakie bigspin inward heel.
The passion is strong in Australia: Neen's new tattoo.
If you have a bruised heel like Lizard King, the smart thing to do is to end the demo with an ollie out of the park.
