SUPRA NYC | We Out Here Part 2
SEPTEMBER 21, 2011

Above: Mumford freaking out about Williamsburg Bridge traffic in the van.
The SUPRA team has been heading into the city the last couple of days stacking up footage and photos. We've had our run-ins with traffic, and security guards, and even dodging people protesting, but we've managed to keep it moving, we've hit a lot of spots, and covered a lot of ground. When you're skating around a place like NYC it's not unusual to cover 7-10 miles just going from spot to spot, but when you're having as much fun as we are, you hardly notice it. Besides, it's faster to skate than to try and navigate a tour van through traffic.

Australians are, apparently, allergic to traffic. Mumford couldn't handle it and had to go on a walkabout. "Oi!" he said. "Skating across the bridge is way faster, mates!" So Mums jumped out the van and hopped these stairs to the pedestrian path above.

Turns out it was way faster, mates. He had to climb a 12-foot-fence to do it, but Mumford beat us to the spot.

We shredded the court house ledge to drop.

Furby warming it up with a first try five-0.

TWS photographer, and good friend, Seu Trinh just arrived. He's shooting a SUPRA NYC article for an upcoming issue.

Chris Thiessen and Richard Quintero were recruited to handle the video production.

Kevin Romar has been killing it at the spots. We wish we could show you the clips, but you're going to have to wait 'til the article and video comes out.

Oi! We out here.
